What Does Aura Do in Phonk Slap?

Aura (💜) is Phonk Slap’s core currency. The official description is one line — “Slap players, earn Aura, and unlock rare gloves & cosmetics” — but the currency touches nearly every system in the game. Here’s the full picture, from the official changelogs.

How you earn Aura

• Slaps and kills. Every landed slap and every knock-off pays Aura. Since v1.0.4, the cutscene taunt shows the exact Aura value of each kill above the victim’s head — slap several people at once and each one is counted separately.
• Playtime rewards. The Free Rewards menu grants Aura at 8 time milestones (5–60 minutes).
• Codes. Redeemable codes have paid 100–150 Aura each so far (see the Codes page).

Every source except flat code rewards is multiplied by the bonus stack below.

The multipliers that grow your Aura

Three officially confirmed layers multiply Aura earnings:

1. Aura Multiplier tiers (v1.0.4). Six tiers, from 2x up to 64x, bought one after another from the Menu or the Shop. Every tier you own multiplies the Aura you earn from slaps and kills. Intermediate tier values are not officially published yet.
2. Roblox Premium (v1.0.4). +50% Aura while subscribed, shown live on the bonus bar.
3. Friends in the server (v1.0.4). +10% Aura per friend present, capped at +50% (five friends). You can invite friends straight from the game’s friend icon.

A fourth bonus — your current killstreak — also sits on the bonus bar, but the developer has not published its exact value.

What Aura buys

• Gloves. The Aura shop track sells slaps with unique abilities. Confirmed price points so far: 50, 100, 200, 250, 300 and the 100,000-Aura endgame God Slap (raised from 20,000 in the September 6 v1.0.6 nerf — old owners must re-unlock it). See the Gloves list.
• Cosmetics. Flex Auras and cosmetics, including shop skins like the Time-themed slap (distinct from the Robux Time Aura gamepass).

Aura you don’t spend: Flex Auras

Don’t confuse the currency with the cosmetic of the same name. A Flex Aura is an equipped cosmetic:

• Equipped at the lobby stands (walk-up proximity prompts since v1.0.2).
• Saved between sessions since v1.0.1 — it re-equips automatically when you rejoin.
• Displayed live: the lobby mannequins show your current Aura currency count (v1.0.1).
