Phonk Slap Beginner Guide
Phonk Slap is a 24-player slap arena where every hit triggers a phonk edit — a slowed, beat-synced camera cutscene of your victim flying off the map. This guide covers the full loop from your first slap to your first 64x Aura multiplier, using only officially confirmed mechanics (developer changelogs v1.0.1–v1.0.4 and the game’s official description).
The core loop
- Slap players off the map. Click (or R2 on controller) to slap. A slap only fires when it will actually land — a v1.0.3 fix removed dead swings.
- Earn Aura. Every slap and kill pays Aura, the game’s currency. The exact Aura value of a kill even appears above the victim’s head during the cutscene.
- Buy gloves and cosmetics. Spend Aura in the in-game shop on gloves with unique abilities, and equip Flex Auras at the lobby stands.
- Stack multipliers and repeat. Aura Multiplier tiers, Premium and friend bonuses make every later slap worth more.

Survival basics: shields and cooldowns
Phonk Slap punishes spam, so learn its two protective systems early:
- Victim shield (v1.0.1). After being slapped you get a short invulnerability window with a white glow — nobody can re-slap you while it’s active. No more getting camped at your landing spot.
- Attacker shield (v1.0.3). After you land a slap, you also get a brief burst of invulnerability. Use it to retreat or reposition.
- 1.5s slap cooldown (v1.0.3). A bar on screen shows when your next slap is ready. Chasing someone mid-cooldown is how you get dropped off the edge instead.
Your first Aura: free money sources
Before you’re confident in PvP, farm the passive tracks:
- Playtime rewards (v1.0.4). The Free Rewards menu holds 8 gifts that unlock at 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 minutes of play — they pay Aura and free Spins, with a countdown on the button. Unlocking a gift instantly also opens every gift before it. Details in our Free Spins guide.
- Bonus bar helpers (v1.0.4). Playing with Roblox Premium adds +50% Aura, and every friend in the server adds +10% (up to +50%). See Aura farming.
- Codes. Phonk Slap’s first code batch (August 24, 2026) pays out 250+ Aura and free Spins — grab them on our Codes page.
Spend order: what to buy first
There is no single official answer, but the confirmed economy suggests this order:
- A cheap glove from the Aura shop — shop price points seen so far include 50, 100, 200, 250 and 300 Aura. A second glove means a second ability to solve problems with.
- Aura Multiplier tiers (Menu/Shop) — six tiers from 2x up to 64x, bought one after another. Every tier multiplies all future slap and kill Aura, so they compound. Intermediate tier values are not officially listed yet; we’ll add them once verified in-game.
- Flex Auras and titles — cosmetic, but your equipped Aura is saved between sessions and shown on the lobby mannequins.
For what’s confirmed in each glove, see the Gloves list; premium passes are priced out on the Gamepasses page.
Killstreaks: your long-term goal
Defeating players in a row builds a killstreak, tracked live on the bonus bar. The official badges reward 10, 25, 50 and 100 straight wins — the 100 STREAKS badge still sat at a 0% award rate as of August 30, 2026. Our Killstreak guide covers the survival habits that keep streaks alive.
